This piece is an example of the finely detailed hand carving that we offer.Â This custom project was designed for a church who needed a large iconostasis crafted in independent sections.Â The photos here show the first section.

This custom crafted iconostasis features detailed hand carving, lathe turned pillars and extensive trim. The model as shown is made from Red Oak. It includes functional Deacon’s Doors and Beautiful Gates. This is our ‘base’ model. You can choose to add more elaborate carving or trim in any combination to meet your particular need. Other hardwoods and stains are available. While we do not provide icons, we do provide custom fitted, removable templates that can be sent to your iconograher (we can provide an excellent source for icons if you so desire).

Koubouklion (Epitaphios, Bier)

The Koubouklion is the stand on which the epitaphios (the Icon of Christâ€™s Body) is placed at Vespers on Great Friday.Â This fine piece was built from a traditional design. Hand carving includes: Byzantine eagles, Crosses, and trim elements.Â You can customize the carved details in as desired (peacocks, grape designs, etc.).Â This piece can be sized for any application.

ProskynetÃ¡rion/Icon Stand

Exquisite and finely detailed carving using only hand tools and centuries old technique makes this piece both beautiful and unique. There are few traditional wood carvers in North America offering this level craftsmanship for church furniture.

This tabernacle was hand crafted from a photograph of a church supplied by one of our customers. Crafted traditionally as shown in Peruvian Walnut and Curley Maple, this piece is a one-of-a-kind made specifically for each customer. Fine detail in miniature and elegant joinery make this piece worthy of Orthodox church usage. This piece can be custom crafted for any application.

Gospel Stand

This ornate stand was designed and crafted for an Orthodox Church from a traditional design. Notice the careful hand carved elements on the feet and lip of the stand. This stand features a hand carved Byzantine eagle on both sides with cross details on the wings. The stand is made from Limewood to keep the total weight easy to manage.
